Vinegaroons, also called whip scorpions, are large, nocturnal arachnids known for their impressive appearance and distinctive defense mechanism. When threatened, they can release a mild acetic acid spray that smells like vinegar, giving them their common name.

Despite their intimidating look, vinegaroons are non-venomous and rely on speed and deterrence rather than aggression. This specimen has been raised with proper husbandry and is feeding reliably on appropriately sized live insects.

Vinegaroons are terrestrial and require a secure enclosure with deep substrate for burrowing and hiding. They are primarily display animals and are not recommended for frequent handling.

This is a living animal raised intentionally and sold responsibly. Proper enclosure, substrate depth, and humidity must be in place before purchase.
