Gold Gourami

The Gold Gourami is a stunning tropical freshwater fish prized for its shimmering golden coloration and peaceful temperament. These medium-sized gouramis thrive in warm, planted aquariums with plenty of hiding spaces and calm tank mates. They're labyrinth breathers, so they can access air from the water's surface. Gold Gouramis are relatively hardy and suitable for intermediate aquarists, feeding on small pellets, flakes, and live foods. Ideal water temperature ranges from 72–82°F with neutral to slightly acidic pH. A minimum 20-gallon tank is recommended for a single fish, with additional space for community setups. Their graceful swimming and interactive behavior make them a captivating addition to any tropical aquarium.
