The Common Snapping Turtle (sub adult) requires a habitat with at least 75% aquatic environment and a basking area. Maintain water temperatures between 22–26°C (72–79°F) with clean, filtered water. Provide a diet consisting of 70% protein, including fish and aquatic invertebrates, supplemented with vegetation. Regular monitoring of water quality and temperature is essential for health maintenance.
