Product information
The Common Pleco (Hypostomus plecostomus) is a robust freshwater fish known for its algae-eating habits, contributing to tank cleanliness by reducing excess algae up to 90%. It thrives in aquariums requiring a minimum of 75 gallons, with a pH range of 6.5 to 7.5. Provide ample hiding spaces, and ensure consistent water temperatures between 74-78°F for optimal health. Regular partial water changes and a varied diet, including sinking pellets and vegetables, enhance its longevity and vitality.
