Product information
The Zoo Med Coconut House is a natural-looking coconut hide designed to add an attractive shelter feature to reptile and small animal habitats. Its coconut-inspired appearance brings a tropical touch to terrariums while creating an enclosed space that animals can explore and use as a hiding spot.
Natural Coconut Appearance
The Zoo Med Coconut House adds an organic decorative element to habitat setups. Its natural-looking exterior blends well with tropical themes, natural substrates, plants, branches, and other terrarium decorations. It can help create a more visually interesting environment without making the enclosure look overcrowded.
A Private Hiding Space
Hiding areas are an important part of habitat design for many small animals and reptiles. The enclosed structure provides a sheltered space where an animal can retreat from the open enclosure. Placing a hide in an appropriate location can help create a more varied environment with separate resting and exploration areas.
Suitable for Naturalistic Enclosures
This coconut house can complement terrariums designed around tropical or woodland themes. Combine it with suitable substrate, foliage, climbing features, and other habitat accessories to create a coordinated display. Its distinctive shape also makes it an attractive feature in smaller enclosure layouts.
Flexible Habitat Placement
Position the Zoo Med Coconut House on a stable, level area where it will not obstruct movement or access to other enclosure features. Consider the animal's size and movement patterns when choosing its location, ensuring the opening and interior space are appropriate for the intended occupant.
An Attractive Addition to Habitat Setups
Whether used as a functional hiding feature or as part of a decorative enclosure arrangement, the Zoo Med Coconut House adds natural character and another point of interest to a habitat. It is a useful option for building a more layered environment with sheltered spaces and natural-looking decorations.
